How to Prepare Your Kids for School
Back To School
August is here, which means we gear up to send all the little's back to school! Maybe you are like me and get really sad when the summer starts to wrap up. My kids love and thrive at school, but this Mama sure loves having them around all the time, not having to share with anyone else. Or maybe you're the mom jumping up and down because you guys survived another summer. You're dying to get structure, schedules, and all the routines back into your lives. No matter how you are feeling as 2019 school year comes up, these oils and products are ones that you need in your life Mama.
School equals germs. ON GUARD. ON GUARD. ON GUARD. Our little's are exposed to so much, so even if we fell off the routines a bit through the summer months, when the end of July comes around and we are gearing up for August, we make sure to implement those core items into our daily routines. Its important to amp up our immune systems and be prepared. ON GUARD. ON GUARD. ON GUARD.
Daily Fostering The Essentials Kids Immune Support Protocol:
On Guard touch roller or stronger roller from the kids line (I let them pick which one they want to use each day-sometimes they choose both)
Apply this on feet and spine morning and night
A2Z chewable
Multi Vitamin that's watermelon flavored to help get them the vitamins and minerals needed.
IQ Mega
Omega 3's that do not taste like fish (WAHOO!) Helps with brain growth and activity.
PB Assist Jr
Probiotic that my kids refer to as their “sugar vitamin” It taste just like a pixie stick.
Everyone should be on a probiotic to support gut health. This is your 2nd brain to your body and its well being. Happy gut = Healthy body.
Mom Hack: if your kids don't like one of the other supplements bribe them with the probiotic- WINNING!
DDR Prime
Helps support cellular health. We put this in a roller bottle along with copaiba and frankincense which also help with cellular health. This is great for kids to apply up and down their spines while they are still young. My oldest will sometimes put a drop in orange juice (Ages 6+ for internal use and be sure to always use a glass cup) or you can put a drop directly under their tongue.
Other things you should consider doing to keep your kiddos health at optimal level both physically and mentally:
Energy
Mornings for the first few months are always a bit rough in our house getting back into the swing of it all. Peppermint and Wild Orange is my go to blend to get going in the diffusers before anyone's feet hit the ground.
Healthy eating + snacks, MORE WATER
I think I need to do a blog post on school lunch ideas. Us moms could use all the help we can get in that department, am I right? All kids are starving when they get home from school, so be prepared with something nutritious and healthy.
Exercise + Nature
I am sure they are getting enough activity at school, but depending on the kid maybe they are not. Get their feet in the dirt and let them be grounded in nature when they get home. Enjoy your snack outside unwinding and chatting about their days.
Communication
God has blessed us with these beautiful little human beings to guide through this world, and it is our job to be in every part of it. Pray with them, pray over them, ask what they need prayers for. Be present and enjoy those hours you have with them. The big and the small things all matter.
Focus
InTune-our focus blend is so helpful for those active little bodies to sit and learn at school. I have one that is so smart but is also so very very busy.
Sleep -
Are they getting enough GOOD sleep? Make sure you rub them down with some oils topically and pop some in their diffusers as your night winds down while you enjoy some books and cuddling. Getting enough hours of sleep is one thing, but getting good REM sleep is equally, if not more, important.
Oil suggestions include : serenity , balance, cedarwood, juniper berry, peace and lavender.
Emotions
No one knows your kids better than you do, so be sure you are meeting them where they are.
