My name is Lindsey Foster. I am happily married to my husband Rocky and we have four amazing and beautiful children: Urijah (6), Hendrix (5), Aspyn (3) and Riggs (10 months). I am a Wellness Advocate for doTERRA, which means I get to introduce others to essential oils. More than that, I get to continually educate people about how the incorporate essential oils and other natural solutions in their day-to-day lives!
Other than sharing about oils and natural solutions, I like to spend as much time with my family as I can, explore the outdoors, go camping, fishing, hiking and practice yoga.
I started using oils years ago when my older two boys (at the time they were 1 and 2 years old) suffered from extremely dry skin, which caused them great discomfort. I tried everything I could think of (and research about) including soaps, creams, and even some solutions I didn’t feel comfortable putting on their young skin (but also feeling like I didn’t have a choice because they suffered so much). We tried diet changes and even allergy testing… all to no avail. I (skeptically) reached out a friend online who had experience with essential oils and I bought a Home Essentials Kit. Seriously, I figured that I had nothing to lose. Within ONE WEEK my boys’ skin was tremendously better and my life was changed forever. We shut the medicine cabinet and turned to our collection of 10 oils for nearly any/every ailment we experienced, whether it was physical, emotional or environmental.
After our success with essential oils, I couldn’t help but tell everyone I knew about them! Think about it like trying a restaurant for the first time and having an awesome experience – you want to tell people about it! That is how I felt about essential oils! Thanks to the support of my network and family, sharing about oils has turned in to a sustainable business opportunity for me.
My entire journey with doTERRA is something I firmly believe God laid out for me with intention. I have met some of my closest and dearest friends through this business, which has been such a blessing for me and my family. We all love to do life together. Additionally it has always been a desire of mine to be a mom and a business woman and doTERRA allows me to be successful at both jobs! I feel empowered as the matriarch of my family with natural solutions and I get to empower others with the same solutions for their families – it is a win-win!
