How to Gain Balance Post Labor + Delivery

I know how you are feeling. You just brought your new baby home and now you are trying to gain a little balance back in your life. But you didn’t expect all these… issues. Well, we are here to help you navigate through some of the problems you may be having! So let’s dive in!

Post Baby

1st bathroom use:

This one sounds so silly, but works like a charm.  Add a few drops of peppermint into the toilet bowl before sitting down.  Helps to relax and get things working. Lets be honest who isn't a bit nervous to perform after they just pushed a human out!

Perineal Spray / Circumcision Spray:

In a 4oz spray bottle fill 1/2 the container Witch Hazel, 1/4 the container Fractionated coconut oil, and the last 1/4 water.  Add either 25 drops from the Immortelle blend OR 10-15 drops each Frankincense, Lavender, and Melaleuca.

Hemorrhoids:

4 drops Cypress, 4 drops Helichrysum, and 2 drops Peppermint in a 1oz Fractionated coconut oil and apply directly to the area often as desired.

Caesarean Scar:

Apply Immortelle directly to the scar.  This blend had amazing properties to help heal and diminish the appearance of the scar. it includes Helichrysum which is great for tissue repair as well.

Jaundice:

Applying this to your babies belly and feet at every diaper change will help things process through and flush out.  Especially beneficial for nursing babies. 10ml roller with 1-2 drops lemon and 1-2 drops Zendocrine. (I swear by this blend as my two non oily babies had jaundice and my two oily babies did not)

NURSING

Clary Calm:

Those first nursing pains are no fun as your uterus contracts trying to shrink back to normal.  THIS blend you MUST have packed!!!! PERIOD!!!! It will save you so much discomfort. Apply to lower abdomen before and post nursing.  It will also help balance and get all those crazy hormones back into check.  You got a lot going on, mama bear.

Milk Maker:

Continue to take your Lifelong Vitality Supplements that you were taking as your prenatal.  Our terra greens are also beneficial at getting you good nutrition.  Good nutrition is key to a healthy milk supply for baby.  A roller that you can also use topically on your breast (avoiding your nipples) after each feeding: 10ml roller with 2-5 drops each Basil, Fennel, and Lavender topped with fractionated coconut oil.

Sore Nipples:

The hard coconut oil that many grocery stores carry is phenomenal by itself but adding a drop of lavender and frankincense is soothing and rejuvenating to your skin as well.

Mastitis:

aka THE DEVIL.  You do NOT want this ladies.  I had it with both my first two and thank the Good Lord for oils with my next two!! I was able to kick it before it was full blown.  Do your research, but the signs are “flu like symptoms” as well as a hard lump in your milk ducts sore to the touch and red spots or streaks.

Citrus Bliss, Lavender, Frankincense and Zendocrine slather on your self with these oils and put a hot compress on top massaging as often as you can.   I would take showers as hot as I can stand and let it run directly on my chest.  I would apply the oils before getting into the shower and then put wash rags on top and massage more. Then nurse, nurse, nurse!  As often as you can on that side and/or pump in between feedings ect. It is painful but its the only way to get it unclogged and that pain is much better then getting mastitis, I promise.

Keep Away Germs:

On Guard Hand Sanitizer as well as diffusing Frankincense and On Guard with all the visitors coming to see the new bundle! You will want to keep as many germs away as possible.
