Intimacy + Essential Oils

I’m going to keep this as PG as possible, but we are grown ups so I am also going to be honest. All humans have a basic need to love and to feel love. So talking about intimacy isn't really something that we have to be awkward about. It is something we all have in common. Physical intimacy can be affected by health issues, past experiences, and emotional well-being. Essential oils provide a natural and very effective way to affect your mood, to stimulate passion, and reduce fatigue too. Many oils contain aphrodisiac properties which enhance and stimulate passion and sexual arousal. Aphrodisiac = a thing that stimulates sexual desire.

Bedroom Oils:

  • Lavender - Eases feelings of tension, calms, and relaxes 

  • Sandalwood- Aphrodisiac, enhances and uplifts mood.  Diffuses to lessen tension and balance emotions

  • Clary sage - Warming oil, enhances libido and supports the Endocrine system 

  • Geranium- Calms and relaxes.  Dilute to give your partner a sensual massage.

  • Clove - Promotes healthy blood circulation, stimulates and energizes 

  • Ylang Ylang - Stimulant, supports a healthy libido 

  • Patchouli - Improves circulation, raises body temperature, and enhances mood 

  • (Others include: Neroli, Jasmine, Passion, Rose, and more)

Fun diy intimacy recipes:

Fun DIY items that are easy to whip up and enjoy all year around not just Valentines Day. 

Favorite Diffuser Blend

  • 4 drops Passion 

  • 2 drops Geranium 

  • 2 drops Ylang Ylang

Ecstasy Bubble Bath 

  • 1 cup liquid soap

  • 1 cup epsom salts

  • 1-3 drops each Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, and Patchouli 

Sheet Spritzer 

  • Give your pillows and sheets a good spray down before climbing in 

  • 4 oz spray bottle

  • 5 drops Sandalwood (Sacred Devotion)

  • 3 drops Ylang Ylang (The Inner Child)

  • 6 drops Bergamot (Self-Acceptance)

  • Top with water

Aphrodisiac Diffuser Blend

  • 1 drop Siberian Fir 

  • 1 drop Cinnamon 

  • 1 drop Patchouli 

  • 1 drop Rosemary 

  • 1 drop Sandalwood 

  • 1 drop Ylang Ylang 

  • Fill the air with some excitement.  

  • OR make this diffuser blend into a Massage blend.  Double the drops and add it to 4 oz dropper bottle of fractionated coconut oil.  

Make sure to apply between thighs even if your not giving out full body massages tonight. Apply to your inner thighs while brushing your teeth to help get you in the mood before crawling into bed.  As we age, have kids, hormone changes, you name it well things happen and this - well, you can thank me later.
